Pursuant to EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR)

This is an English translation provided for informational purposes. The official, legally binding version is the Italian one, available here.

This notice describes how we collect, use and protect the personal data of users ("User") who visit the websites mycorporateradio.com and radio.mycorporateradio.com, who use the My Corporate Radio mobile application, and who use the services offered by My Corporate Radio.

1. Data Controller

The Data Controller is My Corporate Radio S.r.l., with registered office in Viale Giorgio Ribotta 11, Rome (Italy), Italian VAT and Tax Code 18631961002.

Contact email: sales@mycorporateradio.com

2. Types of Data Collected, Purposes and Legal Basis

My Corporate Radio processes User data for the following purposes:

A. Browsing Data

  • Data collected: IP addresses, system logs, device identifiers.
  • Purpose: Ensure the proper functioning and security of the website.
  • Legal basis: Legitimate interest of the Controller.
  • Retention period: Up to 7 days.

B. Data voluntarily provided by the User

  • Data collected: Name, email and other information provided through contact forms or direct emails.
  • Purpose: Respond to information or support requests.
  • Legal basis: Performance of pre-contractual measures.
  • Retention period: For the time necessary to fulfill the request.

C. Data for Registration and Service Delivery

  • Data collected: First name, last name, email, business information, billing data.
  • Purpose: Create the account, deliver the services, manage subscriptions and fulfill contractual and tax obligations.
  • Legal basis: Performance of a contract and compliance with legal obligations.
  • Retention period: For the entire duration of the contractual relationship and for 10 years after its termination, as required by law.

D. Data processed through the My Corporate Radio mobile application

The My Corporate Radio mobile application is reserved for customers who already have an active contract: it does not allow the creation of new accounts nor the purchase of services within the app.

  • Data collected: email address (to receive the temporary access code) or the username and password already held by the customer; a technical device identifier generated by the application; the access token; the selected language; the channel listened to and listening minutes.
  • Purpose: Authenticate the customer and keep them signed in without re-entering credentials at every launch; enforce the number of simultaneous devices set out in the contract; deliver the audio stream; produce the listening statements and broadcast track reports included in the service.
  • Legal basis: Performance of a contract.
  • Retention period: the token and the device identifier remain stored on the device until the User selects "Sign out of this device" or until the contractual relationship ends; listening data is retained for the duration of the contract and for the time needed to produce the statements.

The temporary access code sent by email is valid for ten minutes, can be used only once and is then deleted.

The application performs no advertising tracking whatsoever and does not follow the User across other applications or third-party websites. It uses no profiling cookies and does not access the device's contacts, geographic location, camera, microphone or photo library. Any push notifications, when enabled by the User, are delivered through the Apple Push Notification service and can be turned off at any time in the operating system settings.

Selecting "Sign out of this device" from the application menu deletes the access token and the locally stored data from the device. To request deletion of the account and associated data, write to sales@mycorporateradio.com: requests are handled within thirty days, except for data the Controller is required to retain for tax and legal obligations.

3. Data Recipients

Data is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes. In order to deliver our services, we may share data with payment service providers (e.g. Stripe), transactional email providers (e.g. Mailgun, used to deliver the application access codes), technical service providers (e.g. hosting) and consultants, who act as Data Processors. For the distribution of the mobile application and for any push notifications, the necessary technical data passes through Apple Inc.

4. Data Transfer Outside the European Union

For some services (such as payments via Stripe) data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area. Such transfers are legitimized by the adoption of Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) that ensure an adequate level of protection.

5. Rights of the Data Subject

The User has the right to request access to, rectification of, erasure of, restriction of processing of, and portability of their personal data. The User also has the right to object to the processing and to lodge a complaint with the Supervisory Authority (the Italian Data Protection Authority, "Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali").

To exercise your rights, you can send a request to the following email address: sales@mycorporateradio.com.

6. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to update this notice. Any changes will take effect from the moment they are published on the website.
